Process Breakdown

Research, Design & Prep

Visit skatepark to document all features, then develop scaled 1:18 blueprints with material lists. Source and cut all materials, sanding and priming surfaces.

Build and Detail

Construct the base platform, bowls, quarter pipes, and ramps, then add secondary features like rails, ledges, stairs, and coping with all metal hardware.

Finish & Test

Apply concrete textures, paint, weathering, and a protective sealant with final details. Test all features with fingerboards and make any needed adjustments.

Work with client to capture vision of custom park. For replicas, visit skatepark to take detailed measurements, photographs, and notes on all features including bowls, ramps, rails, and transitions. Create reference materials for accurate replication.

Develop scaled technical drawings and blueprints at 1:18 scale. Plan material requirements, cutting lists, and construction sequence. Identify key features to prioritize.

Source and purchase all materials. Cut base platform and primary structural components. Prepare wood surfaces through sanding and priming.

Build the foundational platform and install primary features. Construct bowl sections, quarter pipes, and main ramp structures.

Add secondary elements including rails, ledges, stairs, and coping. Install metal hardware and ensure all riding surfaces are properly aligned and smooth.

Apply concrete texture materials to appropriate sections. Paint and weather features to match the authentic appearance of Delridge Skatepark.

Apply protective sealant to all surfaces. Add final details such as painted lines, logos, and weathering effects. Ensure durability for regular fingerboarding use.

Test all features with fingerboards to ensure smooth transitions and proper functionality. Make any necessary adjustments.
