Heavier GSM hoodies and sweatshirts maintain the same fit as our standard sizing unless specifically marked as "oversized" or "drop shoulder." Yes, shrinkage is expected with 100% cotton products. We recommend the following to minimize shrinkage:

• First wash: Wash in cold water (30°C/86°F or below) and air dry
• Ongoing care: Continue using cold water and avoid high heat drying
• Expected shrinkage: 100% cotton garments may shrink 3-5% in length and width after the first wash
• Pre-shrunk fabrics: Some of our premium pieces are pre-shrunk, which will be noted in the product description

• Acid Wash & Snow Wash: Turn inside out, wash in cold water separately for the first few washes to prevent color transfer
• Stone Wash & Monkey Wash: These treatments are designed to age beautifully - cold water washing will preserve the vintage character
• All treatments: Avoid bleach and high heat drying to maintain the integrity of the specialized finishes

Blended fabrics experience significantly less shrinkage (typically 1-2%) due to the polyester content providing shape retention and stability.

Specialized wash treatments may experience some color bleeding during the first few washes. We recommend washing these pieces separately initially and using cold water to preserve the unique patterns and prevent color transfer to other garments.

While wash treatments create unique aesthetics, they don't significantly change care requirements. Continue following standard care instructions for the base fabric type (cotton, blend, etc.) while being mindful of the specialized finishing.
